16 musical bars/keys ranging from C1-A2 and includes 3 additional chromatic Bb and F# bars. All bars are fiberglass with fundamental or overtones tuning. This provides an unusual, mesmerizing sound.
The resonator box of the xylophone has divided chambers which also improve resonance. The stepping of the chambers enhances the sound.
There are two sets of mallets: one has a felt head, the second is made of yarn.
This xylophone has 4 slots on the side for mallets. The set includes a special cloth bag with a slot for storage of each of the bars and mallets.
